Where do I enroll in this program?

The Internship Program module is online and will explain the steps needed to obtain and complete your 40-hour internship. All you’ll need to take it is a computer, tablet or smart phone and internet access. Our website and courses have been programmed to be fully responsive to the size of the screen you are using.

How long to I have to complete this module?

The module takes approximately an hour to view. The purchase of this program grants you ninety (90) days of unlimited access to all the materials. Special exceptions must be requested in writing to info@prof-ed.com for consideration.

Where will I be performing this internship?

Obtaining the Internship your responsibility. The module will discuss strategies for approaching an appropriate foot care specialist. There is a Preceptor’s Instruction Manual which you will share with the doctor or medical foot care provider to guide them in your training as well as a Skills Log that will help provide focus to your experience.

How many CEs will I receive?

The Foot Care Internship Program provides a Certificate of Completion for 40 Clinical Hours in Foot Care, as approved by the California Board of Registered Nursing, Provider Number CEP 15904.  The Certificate of Completion must be retained by the attendee for four (4) years. These hours satisfy the requirement for Clinical Hours required by the WOCNCB for the CFCN® Certification.

How much does it cost and how do I pay?

This program is $97 with no additional textbooks or tools required to attend. The tuition is paid directly through the website after adding it to your cart. You will be directed to PayPal, where there is a payment plan available. Upon completion of your PayPal transaction, you will be redirected to the website and granted immediate access. You will be sent an email with your login information.

How do I enroll in the program?

Simply add the course to your cart, apply any coupon codes and then complete the payment process. You will be directed to a form where you will fill in your personal profile information, including your license number, and then on to PayPay for payment. The course will be added to your profile and you will have immediate access. When you log in, you will always be directed to “My Courses” and can access any of your programs as any time.

***NOTE: you will not be able to take this course until you have purchased and completed the RN training program, Best Practices in Foot Care for RNs.

How long does it take to complete the Internship Program?

The average time for viewing the module is around an hour, and then you will need at least 40 hours working under the supervision of an appropriate medical foot care provider. You may complete the 40 hours as you see fit–all in a single week or by splitting it into several shifts. This is something you and your preceptor can work out.  We recommend that you do not linger–attempt to complete this within a month for the best learning possible.

How do I re-enter the program after leaving each time?

Click on “Login” to enter the site. You will be directed to “My Courses” where you can enter the program. You can move around the course from there if you wish.

Can I share this program with my co-workers?

This program is copyrighted and your enrollment is good for only one student–just like a college course, only one person can attend. Sharing is not permitted.

How long do I have to finish the program?

The course materials will be available to you for 90 days after you have purchased them. Feel free to log in and review any topics you wish. Keep in mind, however that the CE hours can only be conferred one time per user.

How do I apply for the CFCN® certification?

Please visit the website of the WOCNCB for information on how to utilize these CEs toward the CFCN® certification at www.wocncb.org

I’ve changed my mind…how do I get a refund?

Since the programs are immediately accessible after purchase, Professional Education adheres to the usual Intellectual Property Refund Policy: No refund is available once the program is chosen and purchased. No exceptions. For that reason, it is important all purchasers to be fully certain of their decision before purchasing the Programs.
